A) Queer And Trans JOC Caucus

This caucus is open to Jews of Color who identifies as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and/or Queer. Participants will spend time examining their LGBTQ identity in the context of their other identities, discussing obstacles and challenges for LGBTQ and reflecting on strengths and resiliencies that result from being LGBTQ.

B) Utilizing Jewish Text And Tradition For Racial Justice And Jewish Diversity (Part 1)

What does our religious tradition say about diversity? About social justice? Join a text study and learn how our social justice work can be informed and bolstered by our various religious sources and text.

C) BlackLivesMatter Movement and Jews of Color:  Stories From The Front Lines

Since the Black Lives Matter movement was founded in 2013, ignited in 2014, and built through 2015, Black Jews have been on the front lines from Ferguson to Baltimore to New York City. Join this panel to hear stories of courage, indignation, risk-taking, and solidarity. Learn about the ways in which Jews of Color continue to occupy a unique space in this movement, living at the intersection of multiple communities and identities.
